Music&things

I was listening to the radio the other day amd thought wow some of my generations music really sucks and most of the time doesnt mean anything, its just words. I laugh about it sometimes as i sit here in class and listen to music frpm the 90's. Bands like Sister Hazel, and The Goo Goo Dolls. Dont get me wrong i do like a lot of todays music, just not the overly popular stuff. I enjoy bands such as Silverstien, Shinedown, Three Days Grace, and even a little bit of Skillet. Its just that i think a lot of things in this world were turned upside down, i love music and these days its hard to find some that can actually mean something to somone, instead of just noise. Sure music from the radio is fun and you can mess around and have fun with it but to me music is supposed to mean something its a way to openly express yourself, and sometimes thats hard with all the "new age" things that are happening with the world and everything and everyone in it. Hopefull we can find it again but i definatly know something is missing and that starts with our media and music, the things that we do in the day  and how we react to the things around us
